I created this logo for a personal trainer who was initiating her fitness career. She wanted to use turquoise colours and elements of the sea, so I picked three complimentary shades to use in the logo and created ‘waves’ using lines of these three shades. I included the dumbell icon in the centre so that the nature of her business was clear and chose fonts that would portray her free-spirited character, balanced by her strength/stability. So I selected the handwritten font ‘Brillotus’, and edited it to create a unique typeface and then matched it with the sans serif font ‘Walkway Expand Black’, introducing wide tracking and tweaking the kerning. I designed two formats for the logo and added further colours to create a broader palette which could be used as and when.
